REGISTERING AS A FAIR PARTICIPANT
Participant registration is completed in two steps.
1. Register Online
Online Registration Opens Monday January 6th, 2020
Online registration is completed on our Registration Website. Select the REGISTRATION/LOGIN link below the menu bar and follow the instructions. As part of the registration process, you will be sent an access code via email. Enter that code to continue the registration process.
Register a single project once, regardless of whether one or two students are involved in the project
There is a maximum of two students per science fair project
Each project requires its own unique active email address; you cannot use the same email address for different projects
Registration includes the writing and submission of a maximum 500-word Project Summary, which is worth 10% of the science fair project mark, and makes projects eligible for special awards. See how to write a PROJECT SUMMARY. Registered participants can continue to work on their online project summary until Wednesday, March 25th, at midnight.
2. Submit Signature Pages with Entry Fee
Once your online registration is complete, print out the signature pages, and have them signed by a parent, and (if working with your school) a teacher. Then submit the signature pages with registration fee of $10 per student to the Peterborough Regional Science Fair office.
Signature pages and registration fees must be received by Wednesday March 25, 2020 at 4:00 pm. There will be NO exceptions and anyone not entered by this time will not be able to compete
The registration fee may be paid by cash or cheque
The signature pages and registration fee may be mailed or hand-delivered to the Peterborough Regional Science Fair office at Trent University:
